Since when are there Brits in Miami? What’s British about it?
The balance between bitter & sweet is reminiscent of traditional English Style Pale Ales or EBS’s (English Style Bitters), rather than the bitterness-aroma element that is the staple of modern American style IPA’s.
What’s American about it?
Our use of American hops to give it that citrusy and earthy foundation.
The flavor is characterized by a grainy and honey undertone with low hop bitterness and a fruity finish.

Usually comparable with a Belgian Style Golden-Ale but with a noticeable complement of malt sweetness due to the larger grain bill. Our Tripel Ale uses a single base malt and relies on a unique Belgian yeast strain to develop its yeasty complexity.

After hating being stuck at a desk Kayla decided to make her home brewing hobby her career and started working at the Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley as a Packaging Assistant. After a few months of cleaning/slinging kegs and working on the bottling line, she was promoted to a brewer position. There she perfected racking, bottling, warehousing, filtering, cellaring and brewing. She then brewed at Sierra Nevada in Chico learning the ins and outs of raw materials. Somewhere in between, she fit in leading the Sacramento Area Pink Boots Society Chapter. On any given day you can find her on some adventure with her canine sidekick.
